Simple by design — here's exactly what happens
The part people worry will be complicated. It isn't.
You send it in
Photograph a receipt, post it in, forward an invoice, or drop it into Dropbox — whichever's easiest for you.
We log it
Each item is entered into your bookkeeping software and categorised correctly against the right expense or customer.
We reconcile
Everything is checked against your bank feed, so what's recorded matches what actually happened.
You get the picture
A monthly summary lands in your inbox — ready for your VAT return, or just peace of mind.
Digital records are now a legal requirement, not an option
Making Tax Digital (MTD) is HMRC's rule that VAT-registered businesses — and, as it's phased in, sole traders and landlords above set income thresholds — keep digital records and submit returns through compatible software, rather than manually or on paper.
In practice, spreadsheets and shoeboxes of receipts on their own are no longer enough. Records need to be kept digitally from the point of entry, and returns filed through software that talks to HMRC directly.
We'll tell you plainly whether MTD already applies to you, get you set up on compliant software if it doesn't, and handle the digital filing itself each period.
